Android and iOS app development
Android and iOS app development
Vedora Labs designs and builds Android and iOS apps for businesses in India: offline use, push notifications, and a backend that stays in sync.
01
Pocket software for a real workflow
Android and iOS app building is for the moment your users are not at a desk. Field teams, devotees, students, and operators need the same rules as the web product, on a phone, often with patchy connectivity. We build native-quality mobile experiences: offline-first where the work requires it, push at the moment that matters, and a backend that does not fork into a second source of truth.
We call this craft Pocket Intelligence. The searchable name is Android and iOS app development. Both belong on the same engagement when the product is the same; we split platforms only when the audience is genuinely one-sided.
02
What you receive
An app engagement covers product scope, the Android and iOS clients, accounts and roles, notifications, and the API or sync layer. If a web admin already exists, we extend it. If it does not, the custom application and the apps are scoped together so you are not maintaining two businesses.
Public case studies on this site are websites, web applications, and Complytics. We will not invent a shipped mobile brand to decorate this page. If a mobile product is the job, we scope it the same way we scoped Mangalnath and North Star: around the real workflow, then into production.
03
When an app is the wrong first build
If people discover you through search and book on the web, a website or custom web application will reach them sooner. Store review, device testing, and two operating systems add time. Start with the channel your users already use, then put the same system in their pocket.
The guide on Android versus iOS walks through that choice without a sales script.
Questions
- Do you build both Android and iOS?
- Yes. Android and iOS are both in scope. We recommend one platform first only when the audience is concentrated there. Otherwise we ship both against one backend.
- Can you add an app to a product you already run on the web?
- Yes. The usual path is to keep the existing system of record and build the mobile clients against it, including offline behavior and push notifications.
- How long does an app take?
- A focused first release is often in the same band as a living web product, roughly 8–16 weeks, once the workflow is excavated. Two stores and offline sync move the date. We say so before the proposal.
